In the published article entitled “Transforming daily support with multidisciplinary teleassistance: impact on health parameters in older adults—a randomized controlled trial” (1), an inadvertent error was identified in the description of the trial design.

In the “trial design” section, the published article incorrectly stated that the study was a “randomized, triple-blind, and controlled trial”. The correct description should be “The protocols for this single-blind (outcome assessor-blinded), randomized, and controlled trial”. Only the outcome assessors were blinded. Participants and data analysts were not blinded due to the nature of the digital health intervention (use of a mobile application). Therefore, the trial design section should be corrected as follows:

Trial design

The protocols for this single-blind (outcome assessor-blinded), randomized, and controlled trial were approved by the Ribeirão Preto School of Physical Education and Sport Research Ethics Committee (Process: 58433922.0.0000.5659, on 26th October 2022). The study details were registered on The Brazilian Clinical Trials Registry (ReBEC) (RBR-6wgkzs8), Development of an Application to improve health in older people. All participants read and signed an informed consent with detailed information about the experimental protocols.

The authors confirm that this correction does not affect the study results, analyses, or conclusions in any way. The corrected description ensures methodological precision and adherence to CONSORT reporting standards.
